The most important election of the year is officially underway — okay, maybe not the most important, but definitely the most adorable. The furry family members of your hosts at 99.9 Sun FM and 101.5 GO FM are hitting the campaign trail, and they’re not holding back.
We’re talking bold platforms, big promises, and even bigger personalities! From the “your bed is my bed” movement to mandatory nap legislation and meat-flavoured water on every street corner. These pups are ready to serve (and be served — preferably chicken).

Willow
Though she be but little, she is fierce.
A vote for Willow is a vote for the “your bed is my bed” movement. I believe all dogs are entitled to all beds. If elected I will reallocate city funding towards our local dog rescue heroes at Paws It Forward Dog Rescue who saved my life. I would also work towards making it illegal to break treats in half.
Bada
My name is pronounced like “Bada”-bing! I’m literally willing to jump through hoops for you. I’m a Jindo so you can trust me to get the job done, they don’t call me a jin-don’t!
I’m running on a smiles first bark later policy. I believe in being a friend to all, cats and small dogs included. If you put me to work for you, I promise to make tireless efforts towards banning being forced to walk in the rain. 4 paws. One vision. Bada boy for Mayor.
Millie
I, Millicent Elizabeth Keppler have a very simple campaign promise. Naps will become mandatory in the coming years. Nobody naps enough and while treats and walks are important, a nap a day, keeps us HAPPY.
Also, indoor poops when temperature drops below 0 degrees should be welcomed. I am here for the little ones, and our voice deserves to be HEARD! Oh, and more chicken pls.
Summer
Summer is known for her friendly demeanor and commitment to sniffing out solutions. Summer believes every citizen, whether two-legged or four-legged, deserves a better quality of life.
Her platform includes: 🐾 Free Pet Healthcare for every furry family member, because good pets deserve great care.
🚒 More Fire Hydrants across the city, creating vital infrastructure for local dogs.
🌳 More Off-Leash Dog Parks where pups can run, play, and strengthen community bonds without unnecessary restrictions.
Summer’s message is simple: why settle for ordinary leadership when you can have Four Seasons of Summer?
